What Vividbcloud is — and who we serve.
Vividbcloud is an independent retirement planning advisory practice based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We work with Canadians who are within ten years of their planned retirement date, or who have already retired and need a structured plan for the drawdown phase. Our clients are typically employed professionals, small business owners, and early retirees who have accumulated meaningful savings — generally $300,000 or more across registered and non-registered accounts — and want independent guidance on how to make those assets produce reliable income for 25 to 35 years. We do not serve clients looking for investment management or stock-picking; we are planners, and that boundary is intentional. It keeps us focused on the decisions that matter most during the transition from accumulation to retirement income, and it keeps our advice structurally free from product conflicts. We serve clients primarily in Winnipeg and across Manitoba, with video-based engagements available to clients elsewhere in Canada.
How we work, what we believe, and where we are honest about our limits.
Vividbcloud was founded in 2018 by advisors who had spent the previous decade inside commission-based distribution channels and found the conflicts increasingly uncomfortable. Since then we have completed more than 340 retirement plan engagements and annual reviews. Our process is methodical: discovery, data gathering, modelling under conservative assumptions, written findings, and a structured presentation meeting where we work through every recommendation until the client is genuinely clear — not just reassured. We use a clean indigo-toned planning environment, both in our office and in our digital tools, because we believe that clarity in presentation reflects clarity in reasoning. We are a small team of four planners; that means every client works directly with a named planner, not an account manager who schedules someone else. We will tell you plainly when a question falls outside our scope — cross-border tax issues, complex business succession, insurance underwriting — and we will point you toward the right specialist rather than attempt to answer outside our competence. Retirement planning done well is not about projecting confidence; it is about projecting accurately.
